M1911 Modern Shoulder Holster – A classic shoulder holster for a Semi Automatic
We adapted this holster from a Texas pattern shoulder holster circa 1890. We have eliminated the chest strap and have secured our Shoulder Holster by using a strap and buckle that goes across your back, and over the opposite arm.
As well we have angled the holster towards the center of your chest, allowing for quick access. Comes with extra mag pouch.
Instead of a hammer tie down, we have used a strap with a snap so all modern, hammerless, semi-automatics will be secure in the holster. Our Shoulder Holster is a fine leather shoulder holster for your semi-auto.
To secure the holster up and down we have a strap and buckle that loops over your pants belt. We have left lots of length to the straps so you can adjust it to fit comfortably.
Shown in our classic antique brown color, and we will custom make to fit the make and model and caliber of your sidearm. All production details are confirmed within one business day of your order being placed.
In the 1880s more than 50% of North Americans lived on farms and ranches. It was therefore a necessity to be a jack-of-all-trades. To be successful all the small towns that supported the farms and ranches of each area needed three important businesses. A Blacksmith, a Saddle Maker and a General Merchandise Store were important to the survival and prosperity of each town. Being skilled workers with leather, most saddle makers were commissioned to make gun leather. Because of this a cottage industry thrived in the 19th and early decades of the 20th century. Thanks to the Internet those days have returned. Why bother with cheap inferior mass produced gun leather, when for a few extra bucks you can have quality custom leather work made to order and to last.

Correct Gun Belt or Pants Belt Measurement
If you want to keep it simple your belt size is almost always about 4 inches larger than your jean size.
Ex: If you wear a size 40 jean you would order a 44 inch belt.
correct gunbelt measurement
Getting the correct gun belt measurement is easy if you follow some simple steps.
Put on a pair of britches/pants you plan to wear with your gun belt
Have handy any belt that currently fits you. You can even use a piece of string.
Put the belt on and buckle it where you will wear your gun belt Slightly down over your hips in most cases. Remember the gun belt will be supporting another 4 pounds per pistol and holster {about 3 lbs for the pistol; 1 lb for the holster} That weight will drag the belt down. You may want to go another notch tighter in your measuring.
Make note of the most comfortable hole in which the buckle goes through.
Lay the belt on a flat surface and measure from the end of the buckle to the most comfortable hole. See picture below.
Distance from the buckle end to the centre hole of your belt will be the measurement you supply us with. This is now your gun-belt size.
Generally this measurement should be about 3 to 4 inches larger than your jean size.
