One of the men in the other room was snoring hard enough to bend the walls, and Hardin yelled over for culprit to cease and desist, or face the consequences. The man apologized, then an hour later, started right in snoring again. Wes yanked out his colt revolver and let loose. Did the man die? - who knows; no one's even sure the story ever took place - but with Hardin being as mean as a rattler, it could have.
