History of the Buscadero
The 20th century brought many innovations to holster and belt design and the most revolutionary was likely the Buscadero or Drop-Loop Holster. This innovative design puts the pistol at the same height as your hand and allows for very quick and fluid draws.
The Buscadero was first made for a Texas lawman in the 1920s, where someone in the film business saw one and introduced the look to Hollywood. The design is very comfortable and makes pulling your pistol while mounted quick and easy. The early western stars embraced the look and soon buscadero’s were a standard in western movies right up to the present.
