Paladin Buscadero
Paladin Buscadero Leather Holster – the classic western buscadero hand made by the last best west
Didja Know? Richard Boone is descended from the brother of frontiersman, Daniel Boone.
Our Classic Buscadero is sleek and elegant – patterned after that holster worn by Richard Boone as Paladin in Have Gun Will Travel.
The gun belt is 3 inches wide, and the exposed cylinder and trigger guard allow very quick pulls, and hammer cocking in the holster.
Comes with hammer and leg tie downs.
History of the Buscadero
The 20th century brought many innovations to holster and belt design. The most revolutionary was likely the Buscadero or Drop-Loop Holster. This innovative design puts the pistol at the same height as your hand and allows for very quick and fluid draws.
The Buscadero was first made for a Texas lawman in the 1920s. Someone in the film business saw one and introduced the look to Hollywood. The design is very comfortable and makes pulling your pistol while mounted quick and easy. The early western stars embraced the look and soon buscaderos were a standard in western movies right up to the present.
All our hand made leather holsters are made in America, and our Leather Master has been working with leather, hide and fur since 1978. For truly authentic, original gun leather you’ve come to the right place!
All our sizes are in INCHES, and all prices are in USD. Our quality leather holsters are made for your semi-auto or revolver. ALL OUR HOLSTERS ARE LINED. Our gunbelt backs are suede so the belt stays where it is buckled. And all of our holsters have a hammer tie down or strap for security.
