Sonja Suede Leather Jacket
Sonja Suede Leather Jacket – made from suede leather, comes lined and includes one inside pocket.
The standup collar is handy in keeping foul weather off your neck. The floral design on the front panels, collar, arms and on the back of the coat, as well as the fringe, add to the western look.
Another one of our ladies Jackets that would certainly fit in with the character of Elsa, from Paramount’s excellent prequel western, 1883. Elsa Dutton is one of the protagonists of ‘1883’ and is first introduced in the series premiere episode. She is also the show’s principal narrator. Elsa is the eldest daughter of James Dillard Dutton, the first generation rancher of the Dutton family, and his wife, Margaret Dutton. She is the elder sister of John and Spencer Dutton. Elsa is fond of traveling and adventures. She does not like being bound by rules and regulations. Despite being intelligent and skilled, we think that Elsa’s beauty seems to be her standout attribute among men.
This great looking jacket screams western style.
Native Americans have been credited with being the first to incorporate fringe into their clothing. The fringe was sometimes created separate from the leather or suede garment, being cut into thin strips.
Fringe could be both decorative and practical as the fringe itself would repel rainwater. Seams in the garment were not always trimmed and the end pieces were turned into fringe for a more decorative look. Fringes would be used as is, or decorated with beads or dyes.
The Sonja Suede Leather Jacket is available in Ladies sizes XXS to 5XL. See sizing chart in the picture gallery to the left.
