This adventure drama has all the elements that make a great western movie.
Powerful acting, chilling bad guys, a morality play in virtually every scene. Ben Wade’s pistol has a cross in the butt, and is referred to as the,”The right hand of God.”
Well here’s his beautifully hand carved holster and gun belt, patterned after the original. We take great care in hand-tooling our Ben Wade Holster and it shows.
Wade is first seen watching as his loyal gang execute a coordinated attack on an armored stagecoach which is carrying a delivery of cash. The railroad owner enlists McElroy, Doc Potter and Tucker to deliver Wade to a prison train where he will be taken to Yuma Territorial prison. Once there he will eventually be hanged.
At the movie’s end, Russell Crowe gives the best demonstration of a single-action hammer-cock-and-fire we have ever seen. It would be interesting to know how many takes it took to get this very impressive scene right.

BILLETED OR TAPERED 2 ½ inches wide
Tapered Gun Belt
Shown are Tapered AND Billeted Belt Styles. Gun belts are 2 1/2″ in width and ship with a standard garrison buckle, as shown on the billeted belt in deadwood brown below. Gunbelt above is our tapered style in old mahogany with better buckle set. See Buckle Choices Tab for more information.
Comes with no cartridge loops (common in the day) or 18 loops. Add 35 dollars and we will cover the entire length with your size of cartridge loops. Number of loops depends on belt length, and the tapered Gun belt holds more than the Billeted style.
Gunbelts ship with a Garrison buckle; Billeted or Tapered.

A heavy leather MASTERSON OR RANGER belt is 1 ½” in size and can double as a pants belt. Shown below in Old Mahogany.
