Dakota Sheriff Holster
Dakota Sheriff Holster – hand-made by the last best west
We made this first Holster for a County Sheriff, and we show it here in our signature color, Deadwood Brown. Our design allows you to position the holster 2 different ways on your hip, depending on how you string the belt. Straight up and down or slightly forward.
The belt slots are double stitched for rugged wear, and will work well with a pants belt or up to a 2 1/2 inch gun belt. The design of the pistol (holster gorge) opening is lower and curved at the top and front of the holster. This allows for hammer cocking (picture 7) in the holster.
The beautiful shell and basket weave pattern on the front adds to the dynamic look of the holster. Makes it as easy on the eyes as it is functional. Our thanks to County Sheriff, Paul Williams for helping us tweak the holster design, and field testing it for us!
All our hand made leather holsters are made in America, and our Leather Master has been working with leather, hide and fur since 1978. For truly authentic, original gun leather you’ve come to the right place!
All our sizes are in INCHES. All prices are in USD. Our quality leather holsters are made for your semi-auto or revolver. ALL OUR HOLSTERS ARE LINED. Our gunbelt backs are suede so the belt stays where it is buckled. And all of our holsters have a hammer tie down or strap for security.
