Legends of the Fall is one of those great epic westerns from this era. An excellent western story filmed in and around the Kananaskis area of The Last Best West. This epic story finds 3 brothers fighting their way through the first World War, and for the love of one woman, who the youngest son brings home, before he goes off to fight and die in Europe.
Tristan is the wild son, and of course the one that Susannah wants, but Tristan has some post traumatic stress to deal with after coming back from the war, that Susannah can’t understand or deal with.

Quigley Cowboy hat - Pinches and dents on hat crowns originated by working cowboys so they could more easily pick up their hats. Our version of the Johnny Ringo Hat - from Tombstone {1993} Hats in the old west shipped with a satin ribbon and bow for the hat band and cowboys would often add their own hat band and just slide it over the existing satin one. Our custom Ringo hat has the same off kilter crown as the movie hat, and the same rakish upturn to the right side of the brim. Instead of the braided horse hair band that's sported in the movie, we've chosen to wrap our custom wind string, around the existing band. Comes with wind string, you do not need to order separately.

A classic fedora crown with a rakish curve to the brim brought this old hat back into public favor with the enormously popular Indiana Jones movies. Harrison Ford established himself as one of the top leading men in Hollywood with his portrayal of Archaeologist turned Treasure Hunter, Indiana Jones in 1981. Our take on the Ike Clanton Movie Hat - from Tombstone {1993} The 4 dent military style crown was a common crown treatment in the old west. This hat with the pushed up front was worn by Stephen Lang as the cowardly drunk, Ike Clanton, in one of Hollywood's all time great western's - Tombstone. You may want to add one of our horse hair hat bands to complete the look.

Our version of the Doc Holliday Cowboy Hat - from Tombstone {1993} Doc's adversary amongst the Cow Boys, of course, was Johnny Ringo. So naturally the Doc Holliday Cowboy Hat is the opposite of Johnny Ringo's. The fedora working to the crown suggests culture and education, and the left turn up on the brim infers a dangerous bent to his personality.
