Working with a factory we have designed our leather coats and jackets to be functional and true to the pioneer days. Our classic designs are timeless and will look good with clothes from 2024 or circa 1883.
Most of our coats are named in remembrance of the early days of North America. For people and frontiersmen and events that helped shape Democracy in North America. And the late 18th through the 19th century are full of firsts.
Don’t follow the herd – strike out on your own wearing some clothing history from The Last Best West!

Our Last Best West Mule Skinner Vest is made from durable Pigskin with traditional leather and concho closures. Many of the West's favourite sons would do a stint driving freight at some time or another. Wyatt Earp spent some time as a mule Skinner when he was first out West and finding his way. The Tuscarora Suede coat was a style worn by Frontiersmen and Scouts in the Old West
With a stand up collar and a raw hem this coat is a fashion reminder of an earlier time. And still a smart look today for those who favor a frontier look to their coat. Two of our designs, Crockett and Tuscarora are frock coat length, at 34 inches. Today that length of coat is referred to as a car coat. But in reality it’s cowboy length.
