John Elder Movie Hat - John Elder isn't very popular around town. He starts asking questions about how his mother lost the family ranch, in The Sons of Katie Elder. This is one of those formula westerns from the 1960s. Dean Martin, Earl Holliman, and Michael Anderson Jr. play 3 of the brothers. All three come home for their mother's funeral. Our take on the Indiana Jones adventure hat (fedora) from the Indiana Jones movie.
A classic fedora crown with a rakish curve to the brim brought this old hat back into public favor with the enormously popular Indiana Jones movies. Harrison Ford established himself as one of the top leading men in Hollywood with his portrayal of Archaeologist turned Treasure Hunter, Indiana Jones in 1981. We have modified the look of our Indiana Jones Adventure Hat by doing a 3 1/2" inch brim for better weather protection. Our take on the Ike Clanton Movie Hat - from Tombstone {1993} The 4 dent military style crown was a common crown treatment in the old west. This hat with the pushed up front was worn by Stephen Lang as the cowardly drunk, Ike Clanton, in one of Hollywood's all time great western's - Tombstone. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Bonanza (1959 - 1972) debuting on TV, this is our take on the magnificently simple hat worn by Dan Blocker as Hoss. Big Guys like big hats. And Dan Blocker was a big man right from the start. Weighing 14 pounds at birth he grew to be a 6' 4" and 300 pound favorite on the iconic TV Western, Bonanza. In 1993 Chuck Norris took on the role of Walker, Texas Ranger and over the next 9 years it was one of the most popular shows on TV. This is our take on the Drake the Ripper Hat - The hat worn by actor Jerome Flynn as Victorian Detective Sergeant, Bennet Drake, in the BBC drama, Ripper Street. It has a long modified cavalry shape to the short crown,with a small pencil roll on the bound brim. Our take on the Woodrow Dolarhyde Movie Hat - the Harrison Ford cowboy hat from Cowboys and Aliens hand made by the last best west For most of Cowboy and Aliens, Woodrow Dolarhyde wears a Pecan colored hat, but at the end of the film, he can be seen wearing a gray (our granite color) one.
