We have what we think is a dynamic cowboy hat design for the 21st century. Great for sun protection, with a 4 3/4 inch crown and a 4 inch brim the hat is tall enough and wide enough to give good all weather protection. We started with the classic Canadian (rectangular top dent) crown and deepened the front and side dents. The brim has a front drover style roll and we have a slight pencil roll at the back and through the sides.

Coogan Cowboy Hat

Coogan Cowboy Hat style is the COOGAN, worn by Clint Eastwood in 1968s, Coogan's Bluff With the world being scared into sheltering in place over the month of April 2020 we thought we would give our clients and friends a distraction to help the time go by. A contest to engage the imagination and powers of deduction, along with our love of movies.
WE HAVE A WINNER! Well, we have been suitably humbled...this contest was posted at 1:42 April 4 2020 and in just 17 minutes(!) Ben Ellis posted the winning answer. Our mystery hat was the hat style worn by Clint Eastwood as Walt Coogan, in 1968s Coogan's Bluff. Thanks to everyone that played along and stay healthy!

Jess Harper Cowboy Hat

Our take on the Jess Harper Cowboy hat from the classic TV series, Laramie.

Robert Fuller was one of Hollywood's most handsome leading men in the 1950s and 60s, and he had a fine career playing cowboy heroes, including Jess Harper from Laramie. Our first hat was given to Mr. Fuller in 2017, as a gift from his fan club. More below

Eli McCullough Cowboy Hat

Eli McCullough Cowboy Hat - Our take on the hat style worn by Pierce Brosnan in AMC's The Son TV series. This great looking hat has a 5 1/4 inch crown with a 3 1/2 inch, kettle curled, hand rolled and bound edge brim. The show hat has a matching ribbon and bound edge. We show ours with a contrasting chocolate brown ribbon/bow and brim edge. This style of hat could easily be a first cousin of our version of a Union Cavalry Hat we debuted in 2016.

Frontera Movie Hat

Frontera Movie Hat - a hand-made cowboy movie hat from the last best west - our version of the hat Ed Harris wore in the movie Frontera This great looking movie hat is the same style worn by Ed Harris in 2014s feature film, Frontera. We are showing one version in a new color for us, BUCKSKIN, a nice, warm earth tone. The other is in our brilliant bone color, the same as the movie hat.

Quirt Western Movie Hat

Our version of the Quirt Western Movie Hat has a classic telescope crown, with a kettle curled and hand rolled and bound edge brim. For our money, 1947s Angel and the Badman, is one of the top 20 western movies ever made. And this classic western film has one of the great western character names in the history of western film, Quirt Evans. The Quirt Movie Hat style is also a similar version to the one worn by Will Smith as James West in the wacky 1999 western, the Wild Wild West - the brim is just rolled a little differently. We'll fashion it either way for you, just request the James West version in the production notes section of the order.

Rocky Mountain Ranger Cowboy Hat handmade by the last best west Our Rocky Mountain Ranger Cowboy Hat is a custom, handmade cowboy hat. With this design we attempted to fashion a crown shape reminiscent of a ridge in the Alberta Rocky Mountains. We feel this back crease beautifully compliments the 3 pinch creasing we have worked into the front of the crown.

1890s Cavalry Hat, an authentic old west cavalry hat custom made by the last best west This 1890s cavalry hat is the classic look sported by the US Cavalry in the later quarter of the 19th Century. Add a top quality cavalry cord with acorns for 20 dollars. It slides over the existing satin ribbon and bow - like they did back in the day.
