Our version of the Johnny Ringo Hat - from Tombstone {1993} Hats in the old west shipped with a satin ribbon and bow for the hat band and cowboys would often add their own hat band and just slide it over the existing satin one. Our custom Ringo hat has the same off kilter crown as the movie hat, and the same rakish upturn to the right side of the brim. Instead of the braided horse hair band that's sported in the movie, we've chosen to wrap our custom wind string, around the existing band. Comes with wind string, you do not need to order separately.

John Elder Movie Hat - John Elder isn't very popular around town. He starts asking questions about how his mother lost the family ranch, in The Sons of Katie Elder. This is one of those formula westerns from the 1960s. Dean Martin, Earl Holliman, and Michael Anderson Jr. play 3 of the brothers. All three come home for their mother's funeral. Its not long before they start hearing whispers about their father being murdered and their mother cheated out of the family ranch.

Our take on the Ike Clanton Movie Hat - from Tombstone {1993} The 4 dent military style crown was a common crown treatment in the old west. This hat with the pushed up front was worn by Stephen Lang as the cowardly drunk, Ike Clanton, in one of Hollywood's all time great western's - Tombstone. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Bonanza (1959 - 1972) debuting on TV, this is our take on the magnificently simple hat worn by Dan Blocker as Hoss. Big Guys like big hats. And Dan Blocker was a big man right from the start. Weighing 14 pounds at birth he grew to be a 6' 4" and 300 pound favorite on the iconic TV Western, Bonanza. And his Hoss Cowboy hat was the most authentic old west hat, any of the cast of Bonanza wore.

Hays Cooper Cowboy Hat - Our take on the Hays Cooper hat worn by Chuck Norris in Walker, Texas Ranger. In 1993 Chuck Norris took on the role of Walker, Texas Ranger and over the next 9 years it was one of the most popular shows on TV. During the 6th season an old west Texas Ranger character was developed over a couple of hours of a double episode. This was the hat style Hays Cooper wore.

Frenchy Custom Fedora. Our take on Paul Henreid’s, Victor Laszlo fedora from Casablanca. (1942) The movie was put into wide release on January 23 1943, and at the Academy Awards of 1944, won 3 Oscars, including Best Film, Director, and Screen Play. Casablanca is perhaps the greatest example of film noir and the use of lighting and shadow is compelling. The scenes are brilliantly staged, and the dialogue is second to none.

Fort Apache Cavalry Hat - Shown with optional Heavy Trail Dust We took our Rossiter crown, and put a pushed up cavalry brim on it. Added heavy trail dust, a "bullet hole" through the pinch in the crown, and a slight nick in the right side of the brim from a knife fight. A real "tricked out" character hat! Eli McCullough Cowboy Hat - Our take on the hat style worn by Pierce Brosnan in AMC's The Son TV series. Our version of the Dylan Custom Town Hat - A 21st century updated version of his classic Rolling Thunder hat from the 1960s. This is our take on the Drake the Ripper Hat - The hat worn by actor Jerome Flynn as Victorian Detective Sergeant, Bennet Drake, in the BBC drama, Ripper Street. It has a long modified cavalry shape to the short crown,with a small pencil roll on the bound brim. This BBC drama hit the screen in 2012 and the BBC drama is set in 1889 London, 6 months after the Jack the Ripper murders.

Our take on the Woodrow Dolarhyde Movie Hat - the Harrison Ford cowboy hat from Cowboys and Aliens hand made by the last best west For most of Cowboy and Aliens, Woodrow Dolarhyde wears a Pecan colored hat, but at the end of the film, he can be seen wearing a gray (our granite color) one. This modified 3 pinch cavalry crown is a cousin of our traditional 1890s cavalry hat and has a bound edge with a gentle hand roll. It is also similar to our Top Hand hat.

Custer Civil War Cowboy Hat - George Custer was as flamboyant an old west personality as any of his generation, and was anything but camera shy. Many pictures exist of Custer and this one was taken at the end of the Civil War {1866} when Custer still held his battle rank of Major General. We were proud to make a Custer for legendary guitarist, James Thornbury, formerly of Canned Heat.
