To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Bonanza (1959 - 1972) debuting on TV, this is our take on the magnificently simple hat worn by Dan Blocker as Hoss. Big Guys like big hats. And Dan Blocker was a big man right from the start. Weighing 14 pounds at birth he grew to be a 6' 4" and 300 pound favorite on the iconic TV Western, Bonanza. And his Hoss Cowboy hat was the most authentic old west hat, any of the cast of Bonanza wore.- Color shown: Silver Belly in 100X Beaver Fur-felt

Our take on the Ike Clanton Movie Hat - from Tombstone {1993} The 4 dent military style crown was a common crown treatment in the old west. This hat with the pushed up front was worn by Stephen Lang as the cowardly drunk, Ike Clanton, in one of Hollywood's all time great western's - Tombstone. You may want to add one of our horse hair hat bands to complete the look.- Crown: 4 1/2" inches modified 4 soft dent military.

Our take on the Indiana Jones adventure hat (fedora) from the Indiana Jones movie.
A classic fedora crown with a rakish curve to the brim brought this old hat back into public favor with the enormously popular Indiana Jones movies. Harrison Ford established himself as one of the top leading men in Hollywood with his portrayal of Archaeologist turned Treasure Hunter, Indiana Jones in 1981. We have modified the look of our Indiana Jones Adventure Hat by doing a 3 1/2" inch brim for better weather protection. Our take on the Jess Harper Cowboy hat from the classic TV series, Laramie.
Robert Fuller was one of Hollywood's most handsome leading men in the 1950s and 60s, and he had a fine career playing cowboy heroes, including Jess Harper from Laramie. Our first hat was given to Mr. Fuller in 2017, as a gift from his fan club. More below

Jesse James Purgatory Hat - Our take on the Brooks or Jesse James hat worn by JD Souther (of Eagles fame) from Purgatory {1999} Our Purgatory Hat is a pretty straight forward hat style, just a Texas Flat Crown, which is a variation of our classic Boss of the Town style hat, with a slight pencil roll, and almost flat brim.- Color Shown: Silver Mist. Our version of the Jim West Cowboy Hat - Robert Conrad's hat from the series, Wild Wild West (1965-69) We are excited to offer the exact dimensions of the original Jim West hat! One of our customers bought an original series-worn Robert Conrad hat at auction, from the iconic 1960sTV series The Wild Wild West. John Elder Movie Hat - John Elder isn't very popular around town. He starts asking questions about how his mother lost the family ranch, in The Sons of Katie Elder. This is one of those formula westerns from the 1960s. Dean Martin, Earl Holliman, and Michael Anderson Jr. play 3 of the brothers. All three come home for their mother's funeral. Its not long before they start hearing whispers about their father being murdered and their mother cheated out of the family ranch.- Crown: 6" inch modified pecan top with side pinch.

Our version of the Johnny Ringo Hat - from Tombstone {1993} Hats in the old west shipped with a satin ribbon and bow for the hat band and cowboys would often add their own hat band and just slide it over the existing satin one. Our custom Ringo hat has the same off kilter crown as the movie hat, and the same rakish upturn to the right side of the brim. Instead of the braided horse hair band that's sported in the movie, we've chosen to wrap our custom wind string, around the existing band.
