Our take on the Woodrow Dolarhyde Movie Hat - the Harrison Ford cowboy hat from Cowboys and Aliens hand made by the last best west For most of Cowboy and Aliens, Woodrow Dolarhyde wears a Pecan colored hat, but at the end of the film, he can be seen wearing a gray (our granite color) one. This modified 3 pinch cavalry crown is a cousin of our traditional 1890s cavalry hat and has a bound edge with a gentle hand roll. Our take on the Byron McElroy Hat (Bounty Hunter) - from the 3:10 to Yuma (2007). Our McElroy hat is a smaller brimmed variation of our Wasey and a cousin of our There Will Be Blood hat, this was the hat worn by Peter Fonda as Byron McElroy in the 2007 action filled remake of the western classic - 3: 10 to Yuma.- Crown: 5" inches

Our version of the Quirt Western Movie Hat has a classic telescope crown, with a kettle curled and hand rolled and bound edge brim. For our money, 1947s Angel and the Badman, is one of the top 20 western movies ever made. And this classic western film has one of the great western character names in the history of western film, Quirt Evans. The Quirt Movie Hat style is also a similar version to the one worn by Will Smith as James West in the wacky 1999 western, the Wild Wild West - the brim is just rolled a little differently. Our take on the Jess Harper Cowboy hat from the classic TV series, Laramie.
Robert Fuller was one of Hollywood's most handsome leading men in the 1950s and 60s, and he had a fine career playing cowboy heroes, including Jess Harper from Laramie. Our first hat was given to Mr. Fuller in 2017, as a gift from his fan club. More below

Coogan Cowboy Hat style is the COOGAN, worn by Clint Eastwood in 1968s, Coogan's Bluff With the world being scared into sheltering in place over the month of April 2020 we thought we would give our clients and friends a distraction to help the time go by. A contest to engage the imagination and powers of deduction, along with our love of movies.WE HAVE A WINNER! Well, we have been suitably humbled...this contest was posted at 1:42 April 4 2020 and in just 17 minutes(!) Ben Ellis posted the winning answer. Our mystery hat was the hat style worn by Clint Eastwood as Walt Coogan, in 1968s Coogan's Bluff. Thanks to everyone that played along and stay healthy!
