Tom Mix B-Movie hat - A hat style popular with early film star Tom Mix Tom Mix was likely cinema's first movie star, starring in dozens of silent and talkie westerns, at the dawn of cinema in the 1920s and 30s. Mix was a small man who liked big hats, and was the first movie star earning 40,000 a week in 1925. This classic old B-Movie hat has a sagebrush crown, and a big 4 3/4 inch brim with a large kettle curl and bound brim edge.

Our version of the Johnny Ringo Hat - from Tombstone {1993} Hats in the old west shipped with a satin ribbon and bow for the hat band and cowboys would often add their own hat band and just slide it over the existing satin one. Our custom Ringo hat has the same off kilter crown as the movie hat, and the same rakish upturn to the right side of the brim. Instead of the braided horse hair band that's sported in the movie, we've chosen to wrap our custom wind string, around the existing band. Comes with wind string, you do not need to order separately.

Our version of the Dylan Custom Town Hat - A 21st century updated version of his classic Rolling Thunder hat from the 1960s. This hat has a classic telescope crown, with a pencil roll, creating a dynamic and distinctive hat. A couple of musicians from Bavaria in Germany liked the hat that they had seen Bob Dylan wearing in a 2010 concert. So we made them two.

Cowboys and Aliens Jake Lonergan Hat This is a modified crown treatment of a cavalry style, with the edges exaggerated. This movie is based on eyewitness accounts of cowboys taking pot shots at massive birds in 1890s Arizona. When the cowboys' shot at them, they apparently heard the bullets bounce off, the "leather like skin". The action starts right away in Cowboys and Aliens, when we see how Jake gets his hat. This is our version of the movie hat.

Our basic rifle sheath comes in a natural color, is made from rough out leather and is simple and durable. The stitching is reinforced at wear points and has a fold over flap with lace, for rain and snow protection. We add a long leather flap with a tie down that will allow you to carry several different length firearms, by simply folding the flap over as much or little as needed. Custer Civil War Cowboy Hat - George Custer was as flamboyant an old west personality as any of his generation, and was anything but camera shy. Many pictures exist of Custer and this one was taken at the end of the Civil War {1866} when Custer still held his battle rank of Major General. 25000 For Jesse James Poster - Jesse Woodson James (September 5, 1847 – April 3, 1882) was an American outlaw, gang leader, bank robber, train robber, and murderer from the state of Missouri and the most famous member of the James-Younger Gang. Already a celebrity when he was alive, he became a legendary figure of the Wild West after his death. All Authentic Wanted Posters Package Legends of the West Posters Package Original Wild West Poster Line The James brothers were most active with their gang from about 1866 until 1876, when their attempted robbery of a bank in Northfield, Minnesota resulted in the capture or deaths of several gang members. They continued in crime for several years, recruiting new members, but were under increasing pressure from law enforcement. On April 3, 1882, Jesse James was killed by a member of his own gang, Robert Ford, who hoped to collect a reward on James' head.

Alaska Territory U.S. Marshal Badge - In 1884, law in the rugged Alaska Territory was upheld by Federal Marshals under a U.S. District Judge. At the start of the Nome gold rush there was only one Marshal and ten Deputies. In 1897, Deputy Marshals William C. Watt and James Mark Rowan were the first to be killed in the line of duty. U.S. Marshal Durango - William ( Big Bill) Thompson stood 6'4"tall, but that didn't help him when he got into a gunfight with Jesse Stensel, the Town Marshal of Durango. Thompson was closing down gambling halls under the Governor's orders. Marshal Stensel objected, and the two emptied their guns at each other. Sheriff Thompson died from four bullet wounds. After it was discovered that one of Thompson's wounds was to his back, the Marshal was arrested for murder. Before the trial could take place, Sheriff Thompson's clothing, which was the vital evidence to prove the murder charge, was burned by the undertaker. As a result, Stansel was acquitted and very soon after he moved to Texas. Our Old West replica badges are crafted out of steel and brass. We double-stamp them and then they are silver plated. This modified 3 pinch cavalry crown is a cousin of our traditional 1890s cavalry hat and has a bound edge with a gentle hand roll. It is also similar to our Top Hand hat.

Our take on the Virgil Cole Movie Hat - from Appaloosa {2008} Our Virgil Cole Hat is the cowboy hat worn by Ed Harris in 2008s excellent Western Film, Appaloosa. This is also the hat with only minor changes (a front pinch to the crown and a bit more roll to the brim) that Mr. Harris wears as The Man in Black, in HBOs new western hit, Westworld. It's almost like the character is patterned after a mean and vicious Virgil Cole. If you would like The Man in Black version, add the request to the PRODUCTION NOTES. The style is a an adjusted version of a basic Boss of the Plains style cowboy hat. Add a homburg dent to the crown and give a nice dip to the front of the brim and there she be. Pretty close to a Fort Bragg version of the US Cavalry Hat from the 1870s.
